Join us on some of Virginia’s most incredible waterways chasing some of the south’s finest freshwater predators set against the beautiful blue ridge mountains. we welcome everyone from absolute beginners to salty fly junkies looking to test themselves against the fish of a thousand casts. If you are interested in a musky trip, we recommend reaching out to talk about the expectations of a musky day.
All of our floats happen within a roughly one-hour radius of Roanoke, Virginia with some coming a little further out.
Choose between half (4-hour) or full (8-hour) floats. All fishing gear is provided.

The fine print: a deposit of $100 is due upon booking. deposits are accepted in the form of cash, check, or PayPal. the deposit is refundable outside of 14 days of the guided trip, cancelling within 14 days will result in a loss of the deposit. We can always try to accommodate a change of the scheduled day with some notice. guides reserve the right to cancel or alter trips due to weather or extreme water conditions. in this event, you will be given first priority for a new date, or a full refund of your deposit will be returned to you. The remaining balance of the trip is due at the end of the day.
what to expect
Most days start early, your guide will have specific details before your trip and will communicate that clearly depending on which river and what access point we’re utilizing that day. We have a network of shuttle drivers that assist us, but sometimes it will be necessary to spot vehicles in the morning.
We don’t really fish by the clock, expect full days of fly fishing good times. Just remember, we make it simple, communication is key.
Our clients only need to bring their personal items such as sunglasses, appropriate apparel for the season, and a valid Virginia fishing license. We welcome our guests to bring personal rods if they like, just confirm with your guide to discuss proper set-ups.
